Stafford Junction is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity committed to helping children and families in Stafford County struggling with poverty. Every month, Stafford SDA Church provides dried and canned food items to restock their food supplies. GlowTracts are included in the food baskets. We also participate in their annual Holiday/Thanksgiving food drive providing meal baskets and clothing for distribution to six (6) low-income neighborhoods in Stafford County: Meadows Mobile Home Park, Olde Forge, The Village at England Run, England Run North Apartments, Jefferson Place, and Foxwood Village.
Alzheimer's Association Greater Richmond Chapter offers support to anyone facing Alzheimer’s, advocating for the needs and rights of those facing dementia, or advancing critical research, toward methods of treatment, prevention, and ultimately, a cure. Stafford SDA Church partners with them to conduct workshops at the church for caregivers of those  with family members impacted by this disease. On September 8, 2024, Stafford SDA Church sponsored a walk in Willomere Park, Stafford, VA  to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association of America for research and community awareness. Thanks to the support of our the members and friends, Stafford SDA Church exceeded its goal of $3,000 by raising $3,058. View the pictures from the walk.
Stafford SDA Church is a drop-off location for the Stafford County Sheriff Office's annual Holiday Toy Drive. The members of our church and the community drop off toys and clothing that the Sheriff's Department collects and distributes to the kids in the community. We also provide drinks and juice boxes for the Stafford County Sheriff Office's summer camp for community kids. In 2024, our support and donations (toys and member's monetary donations) helped the Sheriff's Office exceed its goal of collecting toys to donate to 300 kids from families in need or who are homeless in Stafford County.
