Walk in Willomere Park, Stafford, VA on September 8, 2024 to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association of America for research and community awareness. Thanks to support from the members and friends of Stafford SDA Church, we exceeded our goal of $3,000 by raising $3,058. Below are some congratulatory remarks from the Alzheimer's Association:

"The Alzheimer's Association National Capital Area Chapter congratulates Team "Made to Move" for exceeding their team fundraising goal of $3,000 for Walk to End Alzheimer's Virginia Tri-Counties, which will be held in Old Town Manassas on October 19," said Kate Leib, Vice President, Development and Engagement with the National Capital Area Chapter. "Support from faith communities like Stafford SDA Church is vital as we work together to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias and help their members and the surrounding community access vital education, support, and resources."
