Why Be at The County Fair?
In the Gospel of Mark (Mark 16:15) Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." The word "world" in this verse comes from the Greek word kosmos, which can refer to any sphere where you live and have influence.
During his three years of ministry on earth, Jesus spent the majority of his time traveling around, teaching, and healing people in the community and less in the temple with the Jewish leaders.
What did we accomplish?
We had three goals:
1) Distribute inspirational material to the community. (over 1,500 pieces of literature were distributed-including Great Controversy, Glow-Tracts, and materials on health and wellness).
2) Meet people in the community who would not normally visit our church (40 individuals signed up for various seminars, including prayer and Bible Study).
3) Provide FREE blood pressure screenings.
