Prayer is the universal language of heaven.
It doesn't matter what denomination you belong to, God promised that when we pray to him he will answer our prayer(s). The Bible records his own words in Mark 11:24: "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."
